sabrina

Sabrina moved to Palmer Alaska in 1996 and has resided there since then. Currently she is pursing a Masters of Science in Counseling and Bible/theology at Clarks Summit University in Pennsylvania. Due to the fact that Sabrina attends school out of she state she interns May through August. Sabrina enjoys horseback riding, tennis, being outside, coloring, and spending time with family. After gradation in 2021 Sabrina plans to pursue licensure in the state of Alaska and become a licensed professional counselor. Her interests with discipling young women and working with horses has lead her to become interested in equine therapy. In the future she hopes to counsel in Alaska in a Christian setting hopefully getting the chance to use equine therapy in her practice. A long-term goal of Sabrina’s is to offer a residential or day camp program for Native Alaska youth that involves equine therapy and is Christian based. Sabrina is also interested in working with people with disabilities. Currently, Sabrina is helping out with the Middle School youth group at Farm loop and vacation Bible school. Sabrina also leads hooves of hope, which is a Bible study involving horses at her farm.
